Extra Curricular

At James Gillespie’s High School we offer a huge range of extra-curricular activities that provide a wonderful social platform for students to further their learning.

We are delighted to be able to offer such a diverse and exciting range of opportunities across the school for pupils to engage with during interval, lunch and after school.

We believe that this wider curriculum is incredibly valuable to the development of confidence, skills and self-achievement of our young people, and we do hope that many join at least one from the array of opportunities offered.

If you have any further queries about any of the clubs and societies, please email the school office who will pass your query to the relevant staff member.

You can see a full list of our clubs and societies on offer, here. As we have many clubs that emerge throughout the year, please also check our bulletin page where you can find all notices that are read out during Key Adult time.

We also have a vast extra-curricular sports programme, managed by our Active Schools coordinator Eliot Ambrose. For information on how to sign up for these clubs, please visit our Active Schools page.
