Flashcards are excellent tools to help you memorise information. Electronic flashcards are excellent as they allow the user to take advantage of spaced repetition. Spaced repetition means that you see the cards as frequently as you need to in order to put the information into your long-term memory, but no more frequently. This basically means that your learning will be more efficient and will take less of your valuable time.
The Anki programme will alter the repetition interval based on how you rate your success with a particular card.
